Like the product due to performance and quantity. Yellow will show up better in the brush so not receiving black isn't a deal breaker. Rite in the rain can be like golf clubs, they can get a little spendy but what do you want or need out in the field.

These are excellent pads for outdoor note-taking for photographers, naturalists, birdwatchers, or military. It works best when used with the complementary Rite in the Rain note pads that are also waterproof. The current version has o-ring seals for added protection.

These notepads absolutely live up to the name. They are perfect for working out in the rain, or if you’re sweaty/greasy. Very durable and perfect for your pocket. I always show it off to people by writing underwater in the pool. Definitely pick up some Rite in the Rain pens when you purchase these pads.

Pair it with a quality leather cover and you are good to go. The paper is durable but still allows any pen to write easily. The spiral is not prone to unwinding or getting caught.

I decided to keep track of my putts (e.g. did I miss on the high or low side, how much break did I play, etc). This notebook fits in my back pocket nicely. I like that it is spiral bound as the pages flip nicely. I like that it is weatherproof. I write in this notebook with a golf pencil which works very well.
