Just use a pen with a Fischer ink refill for good dark writing/marks. The rite-in the rain pens are not good.

This is the only Notebook that I have found that can withstand sweat, water, wear, and rough conditions. I work in construction, and use these every day. It is worth every penny!

They write very much like regular paper not the typical plastic feel junk , pencil erases reasonably okay as well . Best field paper I've ever found as an outdoor engineer.

Funny to give a review on paper but it is what they say and in my line of work taking info as law enforcement. Good to know on rainy days it won't tear or get soggy yes I have tested it many times.

I live in Oregon, it rains! It rains all the time, I've come to think of this tablet and he's notepads is absolute necessities to work in this part of the country.

It writes perfectly when wet or dirty. I have been using it to keep compass readings while I hike outside, and I couldn't have asked for better. Great price and good product!

I like pretty much everything about this notepad. I take a lot of notes and carry them around in my pocket. Most notepads get destroyed after a week in my pocket but not this one.The only drawback - it is difficult to erase pencil from the paper though I feel like this is just a characteristic of it being water resistant. But pros def outweigh this small con.

Our construction company works in damp and wet situations all the time. These books make it possible to take notes, measurements, etc without the paper getting soggy. Love them.

If you need to write in the rain nothing else will work but otherwise they're kinda gimmicky. Make sure you actually need paper that will stand up to being wet before you spend so much money on a small notepad.
