I use the holder for sailing. It does a good job of keeping my tablet safe and visible for navigation. It is a bit heavy, but that is the trade off for being solid.

As the title says, you can only install one of the two short end supports to hold the larger Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Still works and rather sturdy.Make sure to get the 'C' size ball adapters as the smaller 'B' size won't hold the weight.

I have an iPad 10.2” and 10.9” both in waterproof cases. I use them on my off road atv and sxs. This ram mount x grip holds them both, separately obviously. I bought the mount for the 12” tablet since I have cases on my iPads. It fits. I previously had the ram mount for 10” but my iPads with the case would not fit. Conclusion - if you’re like me and have 10” size iPads, in a case, buy this model.

The space between the side brackets is too narrow for the iPad Pro.I am keeping this and using it without the brackets at one end, as shown in the photo. Not perfect, but is secure enough for my uses.

I don't get it, even without the side pieces it's a very tight fit without a case - don't bother if you have a case unless you want to redesign it yourself...Very expensive for something that feels this flimsy and really isn't any more complicated or sturdy than other holders, this one just gets you a ram ball mounting location without having to modify anything...I really don't think they'd have had to do much to make this fit a larger tablet since the arms just need to be longer and maybe a smidge thicker. Pity...

It say it fit, it no fit. rammounts please HELP! I need a iPad Pro 5 holder for my Raptor! My iPad gen 2 has a great clip in holder and is awesome! This one is great but only on three sides. I do not have a cover on the iPad. Even plain Jane, it's just not big enough! Why?
