Mission: Rayito de Esperanza is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 with the purpose of improving the quality of life of children aged 0 to 21, patients and cancer survivors in Puerto Rico; Providing financial assistance, programs and medical services completely free of charge. We work in collaboration with the main Hospitals from the Island, the public Pediatric University Hospital Dr. Antonio Ortiz; Located in Centro Médico, San Jorge Children's & Women's Hospital and HOSPITAL HIMA Caguas Oncology Unit. We also serve children outside hospitals, both in private residences and in foster homes, hospices and where assistance is required in general. Our mission is to meet the health needs of our population by offering primary care services with quality and efficiency. That all children, whether patients or survivors, may have the same resources as their peers. Our vision focuses on improving the quality of life of children and cancer survivors by providing socioeconomic support, quality, confidence and safety in the services we offer. We focus daily on meeting the main objectives of reducing the percentage of mortality in cancer patients and avoiding relapses in survivors by offering prevention programs, improvement of eating habits and routine review monitored, lectures in schools, informative pamphlets and follow-up on behalf of social workers.

Results: We offer services free of charge to a higher amount of 450 children every year since 2010.We are focused on providing primary care services with quality and efficiency.
