This has performed fine for me as a general purpose exterior caulk. It's easy to work with -- it dispenses and applies smoothly (provided you use a good quality caulking gun), adheres well, sets up pretty quickly but not so fast that you don't have time to smooth it out/touch it up. Cleanup is easy with soap and water. It's paintable, but I can't speak to how well it takes paint since I'm not painting over it (the caulk is white and the window frame is also white, so no need to paint).It's impossible to know how long it will last until years have gone by, but so far it's been holding up strong. I've used many other Red Devil products in the past and all have performed well, so I am not anticipating any issues with this.Good value for the price.

Using to seal board and batten. I bought the almond and i thought the flow was slow. Needed some more but only white was available. The white was completely opposite: almost unmanageably thin. It hadn't separated. I find companies like DAP have consistent flow between color variants. Those things matter. Great product just inconsistent consistency. Lol

Red Devil 0705 230 Lifetime Ultra Premium Elastomeric Acrylic Latex Sealant, 5.5 oz, Clear.Worked just fine to seal a couple of window sills. No odor while curing like RTV does.

It is a good product. You can use on windows, molding, shower, bathtub. A few things to remember though, this sealant dries very quickly, dries in a minute. Because it is dry, it does not stick well to the bonding materials. You need to use a finger with water to smooth it out. Unlike other bath and kit sealant, this sealant is not glossy. But if you don't mind matte finish, the sealant works fine in bathroom and kitchen. Buy 12 pack if possible, it has best value.

Simple and easy to use white caulking. I used it to seal quarter inch floor trimming to baseboard. It was easy to apply and clean up any overage/excess. I would recommend this sealant/caulking.

Great caulk. Easy to use, and is paintable and stays semi flexible. This caulk fit perfectly in my caulking gun, and was easy to apply.

I was told I'd have to paint my house after caulking cracks around the siding, but with the clear caulk it's barely noticeable I didn't have to. Easy to use looks works great, also cleanup was easier than expected

Works great, but please allow several days to get completely clear if your weather is cold and cloudy. Applied mine in about 60 degree F wet weather and started to get concerned because it stayed white. After nearly a week, drier weather, and about 75 degrees has finally turned clear. What a relief.
