This item is really handy. It's flexible so you can pour potting soil from it easily, which is how I'm using it. Also it is large enough to make mixing easy.

I use this for gardening, mixing soil with perlite. Black cinder before potting plants. Works for storing misc gardening needs as well.

I like these tubs because they have a larger opening than 5 gal buckets, and this holds twice as much, which works for light mulches,, weeds, etc. But it's also quite possible to fill it less than 1/2 full and carry with one hand by the handle, because it bends so well. Heavier load I carry with two hands and the tub in front of me.

There are copycats in big box lawn and garden centers, but I have found the original tubtrugs to last several seasons of gardening. The main thing is that they are flexible, so they can bend throughout temperature changes without cracking. I find the handles to be comfortable. The 7-gallon is the perfect size to carry your gardening tools, wash the car, laundry, leaves and weeds, harvesting, etc. Anything bigger is too heavy to pick up when filled.

This is my 4th TubTrug I have purchased and they are so handy for almost anything. During the summer I use it to planting flowers, hauling leaves and dirt. During the winter I use the to haul fire wood. I find them very durable and handy to have. Not a huge fan of avocado green, but its how it works, not the color. The reason for the 4 stars is I find them pretty pricey and how come the odd colors are cheaper?
