Wanted one for a long time for my woodworking. Started with a cheap (thin polyester) coat with a zipper. It was thinner than a paper towel- but it was durable and inexpensive.This one is good quality, has some weight and structure, and looks great. That said, I will opt to wear the thin polyester for painting and staining jobs to preserve my investment in the Red Cap coat

This coat I bought for my wood shop to protect my clothes and it works great. Already protected me from stain splash. In summer it might be a bit warm, t-shirt underneath.

I work in an Optical Shop, and the lab coats provided have always been lacking, not long enough, bad fit, easily dirties, etc. But this is awesome, long, comfy, and the color is wonderful, and sets me apart. Highly recommend for anyone who has to wear them for work.

I found the lab coat to be extremely durable. It is made out of the same material that auto mechanics uniforms are made out of. As far as the size goes... I wear a size 35 Medium in dress shirts. I ordered a size 40 lab coat, and it fit perfectly! Arrived just in time for Halloween. Good stuff.
