I used to buy a similar item by carhartt, that was nearly double the price, and was discontinued.I'm a welder, so the wear I'm putting on either pair of pants is sparks, kneeling on concrete, loading the pockets with tools, and lots of miscellaneous bending.The carhartt's would last a third of the year before they got holes. I wonder if maybe the fabric was too tough, because it would always tear in the crotch, butt, and knee. The carharrts were also a lot rougher, and would shrink more when washed.This pair is softer/more stretchy than the carharts. I've already gotten a longer life out of them, no holes yet. In my opinion, the pockets are in more convenient places. Washing on hot seems to have less of a dramatic effect on this pair.These pants will be my new go to for as long as they're in production.

I crashed my motorcycle going 100mph through a closed exit ramp and slid 60 feet in these pants only thing that happened was 6 stitches in the pocket came undone othere then that perfect no damage to them or my legs 10/10

I've worn these at work for a few years. They're very durable and comfortable fit. The only problem for me is that they're a bit warm for me and make me sweat in the man area. But I'm always the warmest person in the room. So the average person shouldn't have that problem.

I already own a few pairs of these pants, however I do have to get them tapered on the legs. I'm not a fan of the wide leg look and being a medium size male( 5-8 with a 32 waist) the pant legs are extremely wide and have to take them to get adjusted. I don't mind paying the cost of adjustment because these parts are amazing. I just think they should just come in a slim fit.

I like the pockets - they are easy to access. The material felt a bit rough, but I didn't experience any chafing. They are lightweight. I used them for holding boxcutter, phone, and earbuds while stocking retail.

The fabric is fine and I consider these to be a medium duty pant. However, the crotch area is not designed as well as other work pants. I find myself needing to pull up in the crotch area to squat down when working on something. I don't need to do that with other work pants.
