Shirt smelled AWFUL when I took it out of the package. Washed it separately since I did not want that stink in anything else. Smell was pretty much gone after wash. Fabric is not as smooth as I was expecting and is too heavy and hot for summer use, at least for me.

Excellent shirt. Purchased this for someone with extreme skin allergies and psoriasis. It wicked away the heat and kept his skin from turning red after about 3 hours of wear. Very impressed. And the red color is extremely flattering.
