I've made some of my own toothpaste in the past combined with coconut oil and it worked very well. However, I decided to give this tooth powder a try. It really does a great job of making your teeth feel as clean as a professional cleaning at the dentist. The flavor is not overpowering and has the perfect amount of "sweetness". Yes, your teeth will look like charcoal while you are brushing, but they will rinse off nicely and leave you with a refreshed mouth. This is a great alternative way to clean your teeth sans fluoride and remineralize your teeth. Even my 10 year old son loves it!
