The REESE 5th Airborne pin box makes towing a fifth wheel trailer smoother and easier than ever before. This premium product replaces the standard pin box on nearly any fifth wheel and bolts in place onto a set of wings on the front of the trailer. The pin box's king pin connects to the fifth wheel hitch in the bed of your truck providing a secure connection when you're towing. With the 5th Airborne, you can enjoy a smoother, more comfortable towing experience thanks to its shock absorber and premium airbag system. This two-pronged approach reduces the push and pull of the trailer and the up and down stresses on the trailer so you feel less and can relax more. The airbag system is easy to fill to the capacity of your liking with an easy-access air valve located conveniently on the top of the unit, and an air pressure indicator located within the badge on the side. As you fill the airbag, you can watch the indicator move. When it cuts through the middle of the badge, you'll know the airbag is filled to normal pressure and ready to go. Like the REESE goosebox and Sidewinder, the 5th Airborne is tested to exceed all SAE standards, has 20,000 pounds capacity, and fits several Lippert trailer configurations, including the turning-point and Rhino bolt hole patterns!
