Mission: To serve and glorify god through christ-centered outreach of love and compassion that responds to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of disadvantaged men, women, and children without regard to race, color, or creed.

Programs: Transitional guest - transient in nature, clients are allocated a fixed number of overnights per month while social services assist in overcoming barriers to transitional or permanent housing. Services available: food, shelter, clothing, overnight provisions, and requisite social service casework. Available and encouraged are biblical instruction and recovery group sessions. Personal data entered in homeless management information system (hmis).

job tracking - work / savings results oriented in nature, frequent accountability review by mission staff, sufficient social service casework to achieve sustainable transition plan objectives including affordable housing, reliable transportation, and emergency savings account balance. In addition to basic program services, also included are transportation assistance, legal aid, and when applicable veterans aid. Some skill assistance in: job search, personal financial management, household management. Once sustainable transition plan objectives are achieved and a move-out date established, household appliances, furnishings, and supplies are provided when available.

the academy transformational in nature, comprehensive education experience designed to provide clients with spiritual and adult education resources to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to successfully transition back into the community and lead a productive christ-centered life. The academy consists of six cohesive segments: biblical studies; trade education (new castle school of trades / choffin career and technical center / others); adult educational studies; associates of arts in liberal studies (san diego christian college); service duties; and mission internships. Each individual academy member is subject to an intense monthly objective accountability review by peers, mission staff, and instructors. In addition to basic program services, also included is a comprehensive, accredited, educational experience and vigorous social services casework. Through the academy experience, clients are challenged to develope self-discipline, discernment, and maturity for life in a christ-centered environment, which by nature requires a set of moral imperatives. Upon graduation from the academy, clients enter the job tracking / work plan. Sustainable transition plan objectives are established, monitored, and, when achieved, a move-out date established. Household appliances, furnishings, and housekeeping supplies are provided when available.

alumni - relational in nature, designed to remain connected to willing clients by maintaining current contact data and providing ready access to the mission's extensive network of services. Purposed to facilitate their re-entry process with personal, career, community, and spiritual development. Directed by mission staff, a significant portion of the contact work can be done by volunteers.
