Causes: Environment, Pollution Abatement & Control

Mission: reTHink's mission is to empower underprivileged in Terre Haute to earn, grow, cook, and eat healthy food. We want to create a clean green Terrific Haute by reducing the amount of trash sent to landfills and motivating local businesses to use biodegradable products instead of plastic.

Results: We have created 4 community gardens in an underprivileged neighborhood. Two of those are food gardens, one butterfly garden with native pollinator plants and one medicinal/herbal garden for education. We have been working with hundreds of children in our gardens and cooking classes. We have been able to convince several area businesses to switch from plastic to biodegradable products.
