Includes 2 soft close mounting hinges so don't order another pair separately like I did. Pretty nice tray but was a pain to remove the layer of protective plastic sheet.<br /><br />I used these to improvise a tipout tray for an Ikea 36" Sektion cabinet with a 5" drawer front in case someone is trying to do the same. I was initially worried that there is not enough clearance above the drawer front for it to open properly but it only needs about 3/8" of clearance between the countertop and top of drawer. Also, due to the way the hinge operate, it may be too tight if your countertop has a wide lip- my countertop had a lip of 1.5" which I think is typical. It still is very close though. If you are in doubt, mock up a couple pieces of wood to simulate your setup before you start drilling holes in the cabinet or drawer front.

Super easy to install and very cool!!! Remember when ordering to subtract a minimum of 2" from total length 1" per hinge and you measure your opening not your drawer cover

Deceptive name. I assumed this to be Stainless (Steel).<br /><br />Rather is appears to be a thin gauge chrome plated steel which like that old car bumper, will most likely rust in due time. - especially if keeping wet sponges or rags. To test, i placed a magnet to the shelf and it was attracted.<br /><br />The hinges and tray did install quickly and easily and the hinges (included) appear to be made of decent quality.<br /><br />The installed product looks and feels good... at least for now... we shall see about the rust.<br /><br />One thing to think about... recessing some holes for a pull handle prior installed prior to installing the shelf and hinges.

It comes with hinges! I totally just thought I was just getting the tray by itself and was surprised to find the needed hinges as well. A pleasant surprise!

I couldn't believe how straightforward the installation was. I was able to install in only an hour to a tight space while periodically chasing after kids. Two sets of hands will make installation simpler, but you can install solo, too.<br /><br />This set includes snap-close hinges that are quite strong (and loud) so I'd recommend the soft-close hinges for households with children. I snapped my fingers a couple times during installation and it convinced me to go ahead and install the soft close hinges. Yeouch.<br /><br />Overall a great product. Easy install. Highly recommended.

We bought a house that already had the hardware installed to slide open the under sink area, so I can't speak to whether or not the installation is smooth. But I can say that this is a sturdy sponge holder and a clever use of an otherwise wasted space. Would recommend
