The item works well after installation. The installation of the hinges was difficult as the access to the screws is complicated by the hinges which have to be installed on the sink panel and the attached to the cabinet. It can be done but it is not simple.

Installation was tricky. Didn't work with what was sent, but through some creative workarounds we got it installed. I love having it there for hand lotion, scrub brushes, etc. Very happy I purchased.

The tray is great. Don't use the screws that come with it. I broke 3 off by hand.

This is so handy for toothpaste, makeup etc. in my bathroom vanity. Really helps to keep the vanity cleared off frequently used items easily accessible. I have one in the kitchen also, but seem to use the one in the bathroom more.

If you want stainless steel so it doesn't rust, this is not the product that you are looking for. A simple test to see if it is stainless steel is a magnet test, magnets don't stick to stainless steel; but they do to these trays, what does that tell you? It's not stainless steel and it will rust. When it comes, you will find a nice piece of plastic covering the entire outside of the tray, have fun getting it off as it tears in little pieces and you end up scratching the finish to get the annoying pieces off. The instructions talk about a drilling template that guides where to drill holes for mounting, to bad they are not included and it becomes a guessing game. Let's see if Rev-A-Shelf will stand behind their claims and produce a product that is accurate.

The hinges and metal insert itself are fine IF you can get it installed correctly. The issue is the instructions refer to a template which wasn't included - others have stated the same thing. This is a big failure on the part of Rev-a-Shelf. There isn't much room for error so if you're not drilling the pilot holes correctly everything else won't line up and it won't close cleanly. What should have been a quick 20 min install took much longer leading to frustration & requiring to measure multiple times before drilling. BTW, toss out the instructions; they're garbage. Instead, you tube: rev a shelf installation - AdamDIY has a decent install video on this.

This worked better than I could have hoped, but leaves some to be desired. For starters the fit was perfect, however, with instructions but no templates, it is a quick way to mess up a drawer front if someone does not know what they are doing. Also, the metal of the hinges is very soft and the first time the drawer got away from me it bent the hinge badly. Thankfully I knew how to fix it and was able to get it working again. I do love the fit and the finish, as well as the convenience.

Super easy to install if you know how to use tools. The instructions had me scratching my head as the diagrams were of no help. Good thing is it's pretty self explanatory. Only complaint is the screws have a very shallow phillips head so if you don't pre-drill the holes you WILL strip them. Once installed the shelf opens and closes flawlessly.

It works but it's really flimsy sheet metal for the price.

Great product but like other's have stated the install is a bit tricky. Also i have oak cabinets, I pre-drilled & threaded the holes and still had 2 of the screw heads break off on me. The flat screws are pretty much crap. I'd recommend buying some better hardware if you have solid wood cabinets. Just my $.02

Kind of expensive and if you store a wet sponge in it, it will rust.

I have installed these tip out shelves on both my kitchen sink and bath vanity and they are a great way to use otherwise wasted space. They are great for keeping little things that tend to clutter up counter space. Installation is fairly easy, but with a power drill/driver it's a breezy 10 minute job.
