easy to install

I am super excited about this purchase: I have always wanted one of these. At this price, I believe it was a solid investment. As others have stated, the installation instructions are not very good. However, the manufacturer has a short video on YouTube that does a much better job explaining the installation. After watching the video once through, I watched it a second time performing each step while the video was paused. Insulation was very smooth. I did need to purchase additional small wood screws to attach the cabinet door to the bracket; a few of the screws provided were not wood screws, but small bolts minor inconvenience.The item is very sturdy, and the slow close mechanism is very useful. It does take some slight effort to open the cabinet, and I'm not sure if this will ease up in time. I am concerned about the amount of stress on the tiny wood screws holding the cabinet door on, given the resistance to open it.All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase, and would definitely recommend it: especially with the soft close feature. Worth the investment.God bless

installation is fairly straightforward... I'll suggest that you cut a straight board and temporarily attach to the face mounts so you can get flush... and have access to the screw it down in the cabinet... I used this to replace an older setup that had wood cutouts that the bins hung from.. the only thing i need to get used to is that the bins seem to get knocked around and just dont stay exact.. not a big issue at all just a mention.. i with they would have included a few cross braces like the one they give you for the rear... maybe having one for the front.. and the middle would help the cans stay put. 5 stars.. the slides are really smooth.. heavy duty.. Only warning i would give is if your can stuffer and push all your trash in... Make sure you dont try to do it with the slides all the way out.. dont ask me how i know this isnt a good idea :(

Works great and hubby put it together with our new cabinets. Luv having the ease of pulling it out so easily and slides right back in place. And also having both trash and recycle bins right together hidden is really a plus for us.

I thought the instruction were poor with little information on how to hook the pullout to the door, however it is a well made and sturdy pullout trash can unit.

I was replacing an old pull out system that was more than 10 years old. The instructions were clear, and the company also has a clear video on YouTube. When I got to mounting the door, I found the mounting flanges extended beyond the door. But, I read on and found that there were instructions for using the plastic spacers and several positions for the flanges. I easily determined the configuration for my cabinet door and finished the installation. The entire removal and installation took about 30 minutes.The pullout glides smoothly and provides some additional resistance as it reaches the full extension which prevents the grandchildren from slamming the system open or shut.Great product, easy to install with clear instructions!

I give it 4 out of 5 stars due to my difficulties installing it. It is due to the design of my cabinets and the installation of them, they were built in 2004.First, the edge of my cabinet (front) was slightly too tall, by about an inch. So when I sat the mechanism into the cabinet the track hit the edge of the cabinet if that makes sense. So I had to make some spacers out of wood to raise the entire track up. Once I got it raised up and got my door on, the door did not hit the face of my cabinet flat. The bottom was sticking out about 1/2 - 3/4. I assumed that my cabinet was not perfectly flat on the inside, I didn't put a level on it, so I had to made some small shims, about 1/4 and put underneath the back 2 legs to push the top of the door out. Once I did this it hit flat.All this took about 3.5 hours, so I guess if everything fit perfect the first time you might be able to do it in 30 mins but I would at least give it an hour.It would be nice if the manufacturing would provide some type of pre-made foot shims to help with this, I know I am not the only person that has ran into these two issues.

I give this product a shallow 5. The only knock I have are the instructions. They are not descriptive enough and the diagrams are too small to get a good understanding of how this product is assembled. Once I figured the installation instruction the installation it's self was easy. The product performance is 5 stars! Very well built and sturdy! The glide is smooth and consistent and auto close is a sweet finish! I recommend this product.

This is just a fantastic product. Sturdy and strong and easy to install. It took us about half an hour to put it in. Its perfect. Soft close is great. Love it.

Very sturdy and the right fit, great quality

Once you're ready to move your trash/recycle cans out of the way, this is a perfect solution. Get the soft-close style; it really provides a nice touch (especially since most modern kitchens are equipped with soft close slides these days).

We bought this to replace one that was a frame you dropped your cans into. I love that you can easily pick up the garbage/recycling cans and there is no surrounding frame to get dirty. Sturdy, easy to install. The area stays much cleaner. Very happy with this purchase!

Will last the lifetime of the kitchen

This is a very durable and great quality product. Ran into a minor problem but was able to resolved immediately. A bit expensive but as I shopped around, it's actually one of the best deals out there for the quality you're paying. Kudos to the great customer service.
