The drum is fun, but the pole is dangerous since our daughter tries to eat it.

Totally fun! Only problem we had was in giving it to a child that was too young. She tried putting the handle in her mouth. Have to be put away til she is a little older than 1 1/2 !

Got this for my daughter to replace the metal dog bowls she likes to bang on.<br /><br />This drum is quieter and allows me to still encourage her interest in music without the headache. :)

This is my one year old's favorite birthday gift, as long as he can get it away from his four year old sister! The drum is very sturdy and gets played with many toys, not just the included mallet. And the mallet can be used to hit all kinds of household items, so it's really three toys in one. Great deal!
