Got this for the grand twins, age 1. They were banging on potato chip cans at home so I figured give them something to do when they come to gramp's house. You get 2 drumsticks and the drum is a sturdy tom tom type that they can wail on all day. Not real loud, but loud enough. Let's them release their testosterone levels, whatever that might be at their age. Barney our Lab/ Boxer like it too. Only He whacks it with his left paw as the drumsticks are for chewing.

Wonderful child's drum. Our 1 year old loves playing on it. It has such a nice musical sound and I love that it has two drum sticks. Our son has decided that he likes to chew on the rubber/fabric drum stick ends, but so far, they are no worse for the wear. Great toy.

I bought this drum for my toddler because it is the brand she uses in music class. She loves it! It is so much better than toy drums that play music and sounds when you hit them. I highly recommend these drums!

My son loved this drum since my niece has one, even though he was only 6 months at the time. We got it anyway and he immediately grabbed both mallets and went to town. He's just about 11 months now and still absolutely loves this drum. Obviously it's not made for babies so give to yours at your own risk/judgement but it's relatively quiet and he will play it with a smile and a giggle pretty much anytime he sees it.

Great drum! Good size for an 8-9 month old. I purchased this because my daughter is used to banging on one in music class. She loves it! I put away the drumsticks for safety purposes, but other than that, this is a great to purchase as a gift as well.

Just love this percussion drum and the beautiful designs on it. The drum sound is not loud but one that you could listen to over and over again.<br />Can't wait to give it to my two-year old granddaughter for her birthday. One thing I know, her parents will be very happy that she didn't receive a typical drum set that would drive them crazy. This floor drum is perfect for everyone to use and enjoy for years. Thanks so much for a great product. Highly recommended for all ages!

Our grand twins love this ! We also bought the bongos. I personally thought the mallets were too long, but only because the children are young. I put them away for another time and had custom made sticks by Bluehausmallets on etsy. Now I feel better. Very nicely made and good tones!

Great, sturdy good sounding drum. Our toddler has been giving it a beating for 4 months now and it's still in great shape. Could do without the plastic drum stick, but I picked up a pair of real drum sticks at a thrift store and he can make some real noise with them! Also sounds great as a hand drum. Our musical little dude is very happy with it.
