My one year old twin boys really enjoy this drum. They really enjoy hitting the drum with the stick and like the noise I guess. The drum is a really good sounding drum too. I didn't want to get a toyish sounding drum and so this is a perfect drum if you're looking for a solid and good sounding drum

Our 15 month old grandson loves this drum, and it is sturdy enough to endure his high energy. The sound quality is superior to other toy drums, too.
