I absolutely love this drum. I picked this up for my niece who is approaching her first birthday. She is already quite the drummer and has been practicing on pots and pans. I really wanted something that was not made of plastic. She is young for this drum but it will be something she can grow with. I love the images of all different types of people on the sides of the drum. It was so fun seeing her open it and she immediately started using the mallet to tap a beat. I did quite a bit of research before choosing this drum and I am glad that I did after seeing her enjoying it right away and seeing how my sister in law really liked that it was not a plastic toy.

Higher quality drum than I expected for the price. Amazing sound quality. Wish there was a way to pdate the drumhead later on. Also wish there was a place to store the mallets so they dont get lost
