Love this drum. It is made to be very durable. My boys 5 and 3 years old have been beating on it for weeks now and it shows no wear. It actually has a very nice timbre, deep sound. It came with 2 soft head mallets and I think it will be a favorite toy for may years!

Beautiful drum. It's well made, sturdy, durable and the print is gorgeous. Skip the cheap bongo drum that will inevitably break and give you a headache and buy this one. Your child will love it and you won't regret it.

Great quality! This is durable and very well made, really sturdy and has a nice weight to it. It has a great sound, it doesn't sound cheap or like a toy, it sounds loud and with a lot of echo. My little ones love it.

I got this for my grandson's birthday and he has really enjoyed it! This looks and is priced like a toy, but is a very good quality instrument with an almost professional sound. I will purchase again to gift to others.

very durable and well constructed. i am tone deaf so i have no idea if it sounds how it's supposed to, but the kids have fun with it and it's in great shape after several years of rough use - including some off label choices. great toy

This is a fun bango for kids, but make no mistakes, this is not a toy, it is a real instrument made by Remo and makes a great sound.

My little girl loves this drum and is really becoming a wonderful baby drummer on it. It's got a great tone and is very durable and super cute. It loses a star because there is a point where the drum skin is attached by a nylon band that wraps around the drum and further holds it in place. The nylon is hard stapled in. The nylon has a glue that keeps it from fraying. Those edges are very sharp and actually cut her little hand. I wound up taking shears and cutting the corners and edges. I hope that doesn't cause the nylon to fray and eventually come out from the staple but I never want my baby cut like that. That is a slight manufacturing issue that I hope will be tended to. Other than that, I am very pleased with the product.

Looks great but the drum has a very high pitched tone. Disappointing for something described as a floor tom.

I got this drum for my 1-year-old and he loves it. He's obviously still getting the hang of hitting the drum with the drumsticks but he really enjoys playing with it. So far, the drum has proved incredibly durable as well. I also prefer to hear the low sound of this drum to the high-pitched electronic sounds of his other toys, so it's definitely a win.
