I am using two functional devices that drive 15 to 20 amp 110 and 220 volt 1hp and 2hp sump pump motors. Too much wattage to run through a float switch. Float switches were prematurely wearing out. This resolves the issue and am very happy. Wired in a manual override in case relay fails.

This is the easiest relay to install. There is no coil humming and it operates very smoothly. I will always use this brand for now on.

Device came with no directions but the diagram on the front. However after a simple google search for RIB wiring, I found a YouTube video explaining that you don't use all the wires.The extra wires are for different options. Once you realize that it is actually very easy to use.We connected this one to the furnace in order to power inline boosters. Works like a charm!!!!I have a few new projects I will be buying this for.

Wanted to trigger a booster fan to heat a room on the other end of the house. This relay did the trick.

I used this relay to power an inline duct fan to boost air flow in my HVAC system running off the electric air cleaner (EAC) signal line. The relay easily fits in the furnace box and the fan comes on with the air handler. Installation of the relay itself took approximately 10 minutes.

Once I figured out how to wire it, it does what it's supposed to do. I used this in conjuction with some wireless light switches to run some high bay LEDs.

RIB relays are common in the automation field of work, and solved my home damper issue. Be sure to get the right coil voltage the contact layout is right on the unit. Simple reliable.

For anyone who can wire a light switch, this is an outstanding device. It is well made and easy for a home electrician to install. In my case, I put it on a double outlet box with a feed from main (grid) power and from a battery powered inverter. If the main power fails, the relay switches the power to the outlet. I use this to keep a deep freeze operating should the main (grid) power fail while I am away.Extremely well made. Super easy to install (if you can install a light switch).
