Used this primarily for a Baby Gate at bottom and top of stairs, my banister and handrail configuration made normal baby gates not workable. I added nylon straps with snaps to secure it to the banister and rail and one at the top of the gate to act as a latch in case she figures out how to open it which is pretty easy, as you just pull up and swing... Keeps my 1 year off the stairs and looks good doing it! Sorry for terrible picture

The leg design is so poor. Used it to not allow our dog upstairs. The base legs stick out so far that whoever walks by kicks the legs. And within the first week the first leg broke. Within the next couple of weeks the second leg broke. I have the gate zip tied to my banister. The gate button to allow access to the door is no longer working either. Poor design. This was a big waste of money.

Quality product. No need to drill holes which is the reason I purchase it. A little pricier than others but well worth it. Cheers!

I have a very wide opening to my kitchen and the walls are curved. I needed a free standing gate for this area. This gate is perfect. I adjusted the sides so that they blocked the opening. I don't think the dogs can push it out of the way because of the angle on it. The feet add a lot of stability, along with another opportunity for the humans to trip over it. It was fairly simple to put together and to make the adjustments, although the instruction book was very difficult to understand. I really like how the gate latches at the top and the bottom so it feels very sturdy. I also like how you can leave the gate open for the times that the dogs have free reign of the house or I'm unloading groceries. It is a very handy feature.

Love this gate. It is easy to open and close. Great way to keep the dogs separated during feeding time or when one needs a break.

This gate is pretty good quality - and works perfect for my stairway application.There needs to be better unpacking and assembly instructions. I damaged the gate, while unpackingit, because I couldn't figure out what the instructions were telling me to do, on how to open it up.

Beautiful gate. Works well to keep our son out of the kitchen. He can move the entire gate so we do have to wedge it between a cabinet and trash can, but I love the auto close and lock feature and the swing both ways.

I like having freestanding gates so I can adjust and move them where I need them. They look nice and were easy to assemble. My only complaint is that I am having to adjust them at least every other day. If they are not completely level the extension openings slide down and move not blocking off the space. I am unsure why they keep getting unleveled.

I liked this gate so much, I bought another. It works great for my dogs! It also looks nice.
