Working in a steel mill a lot of feed lines and plumbing needs removed from turbines and pumps , this bad boy is light weight. Which is great because we have to carry all of our tools from site to site

Ridgid pipe wrenches are amazing.This is my 2nd aluminum one, replacing an iron one.The curved edges are easier on the hands for long term use.The feel is what sold me, since I already knew the quality would be good.

Light weight aluminum is worth the extra money, but keep in mind it scratches easier and shouldn't be used with a cheater bar.

I've used Ridgid for years. The jaws grip onto pipe to break loose or tighten for high pressure pipe fitting. You can replace the jaws, instead of a buying new wrench. If you are a fitter, your company should buy the replacement jaws for you.
