Kept items dry and worked well. Only challenge was the zipper a bit difficult to zip at times but a minor detail.

Perfect for when you can't afford or use a hard shell carrier

I used it on my 2 door Accord, hooking the back straps into the trunk, and it worked fine from AZ to NY. I only wish I had packed it tighter and towards the back, so it didnt shift as much with the wind. After a week, the clips did pop off, with the final tightening, but all my clothes made it safely to NY :)

This carrier is more than I expected for the price. It is extremely durable and the thick material insures years of use. I'm not sure if this was part of the description, but there are velcro flaps that go over the zipper for further protection.

Easy to install and held up in some crazy weather!

We used this on our Kia Sorento to drive from Missouri to Idaho and Montana and back again in February. It was raining and snowing and the wind was horrible but this thing kept ALL of our stuff safe, secure, and DRY. I was a little worried about it holding up for our whole trip, but we are 2 weeks into our 3 week trip and it has been great. Easy to take on and off at each stop we have made.The bag is really stiff due to it being weather proof which makes it hard to get it all packed up in a taller car, but I will take it being stiff and slightly hard to pack over all of our stuff getting soaked anyway.It sometimes made a funny noise, but I think the straps weren't always tight enough and the weather was probably messing with it as well. It did drop our MPG, but that is to be expected with any car top carrier.We are so thrilled with this product! For the price, it can't really be beat. It has been a huge space (and life!)saver for our three week road trip with two toddlers. I highly recommend!

I'm late posting this, but I'll give credit where its due.Purchased the 15cu ft bag and it holds a lot (2xsmall rolling suitcases, laundry baskets (barrel type and normal style, camping chairs, air mattress, other random boxes and sports equipment)! Square or rectangle containers work best, but we had a bit of space due to a few round/awkward shaped objects. We installed then stood on a step stool to fill, and it worked out just fine (vs filling on the ground and then loading onto the SUV -Tucson). Be sure to add the small twist/turn in the strap that's fed through the window sealing. It kept the bag from sliding around while in transit. We adjusted the straps about 4-5 times during a 2,800 mi plus trip (most were before we realized the extra turn was key). Bag survived through pretty tough rain storm as well, and it was easy enough to spray off once we reached our destination.Take care not to over tighten the straps. We experienced a bit of water leaking in due to this but once corrected it was fine.Safe travels!!

I used this for our family vacation this year. I was surprised how many bags I was able to stuff into it. I was also surprised by how easy it was to zip everything up and cinch it down using the straps provided. Didn't need to look at any instructions. The material appears to be of good quality and the zipper appears to be waterproof; though, it didn't rain so I didn't get a chance to test that yet. I recommend this product - glad we have it.

We used this with the nonskid pad and lock. It worked perfect! With the size we were able to fit 2 big luggage pieces, 2 small ones, box fan, large wooden dog gate, king size blanket, pillows, and various things we just shoved in like shoes, etc. This was our 1st vacation with the dog and cat so the inside was packed enough. Nothing inside was ruined or wet. It didn't move at all. Couldn't be happier!

This cargo bag is legit! I'm so glad we purchased it for our camping trip. Great quality. I have a roof rack so I don't know how good the clips are but the straps were great. It was a little flappy on the drive on the freeway but on the way home I made it tighter and it didn't make a sound. I couldn't believe how much it held. Would definitely recommend this!

Durable and just right size for all of my camping gear. Folds up into a tiny carry bag about the size of a small backpack.

When we opened the package we were impressed. Very sturdy, large, and perfect for our SUV.

Used for a trip to the beach. Put all the chairs, toys, etc up there. Worked great, 80mph for 150 miles. The fact that it's soft shell is beneficial as it allows you to be a little more creative with how you pack it. Used the roof rails to secure and it didn't move an inch for both trips.

I have the group 3 18 cubic Ft. cargo carrier. We are a family of 5 and have been using it for a little over a year. I love this thing it saved me a fortune when we went to Italy last year for almost 6 months since I could rent a smaller rental instead of a huge van for all our luggage. I've used this with and without cargo racks(a little harder to figure out since every car is different but works well with the supplied clips) . I've used it on a 2013 town and country mini van, Fiat tippo wagon, ford galaxy mini van and currently using on my 2019 Yukon xl suv. We've been traveling the entire year from place to place every 2weeks to a month at each spot. So this thing has seen a ton of use close to 25k miles on it and is holding up great. It has been thru multiple rain storms and snow storms for hours and nothing has gotten wet. The straps and seams are holding up really well. I use it to hold 5 full sized suitcases on the roof. 3 on their sides in the front and 2 skinnier ones stacked on top of each other in the back. I would definitely buy this again.

The key is to pack it and tie it down so the material doesn't flop in the wind.Don't buy a carrier that you can't fill up.This carrier is great and easy to install.Installation directions are a bit weird but installation is intuitive.(I've had other bags and they all died after 500 miles - this one is ready for our next trip with over 1000 miles on it.)
