Bought for a 17hr drive from San Antonio to Louisville. I was able to place it ontop of my Acadia and load it up with no issues during the drive. Once we reached our destination, I folded it up and placed it in the cargo area. The morning we came back, the rain was coming down hard for a few hours and it kept everything dry inside.

I was a bit nervous getting this as I have never used a carrier like this before. But it works!! We used it to take a beach vacation and it holds a lot. I did use some Husky Straps of my own just to feel more secure that it would be held down but I have no complaints. Seems durable and we packed it up as much as we could.

Was moving from Baton Rouge to Denver on 1/25/2020. My sister had purchased this not realizing that there were different sizes. I have a 2014 Ford Focus hatchback she bought the 15 cubic ft carrier. I was nervous to drive it so far with not having a roof rack. It was the best thing! Did great on the trip, no water leakage, no issues installing, it was perfect. We didn't even realize it was on top of the car during the trip. 10/10 would recommend
