Did the job for me. You have to experiment a little bit to get the depth-of-cut dialed in for your particular insulation, but once you do, it cuts all the way through or almost all the way through without nicking the conductors.

A little fragile for my taste. The tool should come with a spare. When you work on heavy gauge, you will break it sooner than you expect.

My employer decided that his company would do the fiber work so I was told I would be in charge of doing the fiber. He never recommended what I would use to do the job so I had to go onto Youtube but I did not find this item on Youtube. I spent many long hours into the night until I found this product. I have used it for several years. I adjusted it once and it has never failed over the years. I have worked on dozens of jobs and I have never had an issue with this product. Any one that does have an issue is an idiot.

I suck at stripping cable, so, this makes life easy. I've used for multi conductor cable, profinet, profibus, and even larger diameter wire.

Awesome tool is great for stripping so cord. It even works great on larger cable. Safe easy to use and the blade turns.

You need to twist the handle and try to maintain and hold while you strip. I wouldn't recommend

Very difficult to handle while trying to strip wires. All around not what I thought I was getting and way harder to use than expected.

It feels like the blade isn't penetrating with as much force as others on the market, but the upside is it doesn't damage the cable either, making it easy to place contacts on the cable, or splice them.

Great tool, does the job as described. Being an electrical mechanical engineer, I use this tool everyday and have not had any issues. When changing wire size, make a small test run to make sure the blade depth is set correctly. Any on that needs to strip the jacket off a multiple line cord needs one of these.

I needed to replace the NEMA 14-50P on an RV power cord with a CS6365C to plug into a generator trailer. I had a cable cutter that worked, but using electricians' scissors to strip the cable and the individual lines inside wasn't going to be fun. I ordered this, and it worked perfectly. It went through the outer jacket like butter, and then I was able to quickly adjust it for the individual lines inside. It made the job easy. Having the right tool for the job is most of the battle.

If you work with any round cable that you need the take the insulation off of just buy this....you will never believe how easy it makes that job.

I have an electrician for over 20 years and always end up having to use a razor knife to strip my cables I'm using. Other jacket removers I have used before either broke or cut too deep or something. This one so far I have only used a few times but the cable I am working with on a daily bases has a very hard outer shell and this thing is amazing. It slices threw it better then a razor knife but does not damage the inner conductor jacket. Hopefully the blade can be replaced if and when it wears out if not I will still by another one because its so great.

If you're an electrician, this is probably a mainstream tool. But if you're a DIY shade tree wiring amateur, a jack knive will do the same job of stripping insulation. But, I'm glad I bought it.....it cuts to a precise depth, every time. And it's a quality tool. Recommended.
