It does job - easy to adjust depth . I have some really tuff cord it cut through that without any issue .

Took a few minutes to get it dialed in but it works great. Easy to use and very few (if any) cut wire strands on a 4/0 cable.

This is a time saving stress preventing tool. The price on any of these cable jacket strippers are always high in my opinion, but at the end of the day they are worth it.

You have to have a little common sense when choosing what cable your stripping with this tool. It's not designed for fabric insulated or rag wire, as seen in pictures, naturally this type of blade will not work. Hire an electrician

This has been the easiest to use cable stripper I have come across. As a service tech. I have had to replace this tool twice because of theft from others that have seen me use it. If your a panel or electrical machine builder this tool is great for 00 ga, multiconductor and down to 20 guage sensor cables. Just be sure to store it out of sight and easy reach!

I'm a gadget freak and I can't believe I didn't find this earlier. I dreaded doing cord ends as an electrician for fear of nicking a wire with a utility knife. This thing is so easy to use. I just do a little practice run on a scrap to set depth then just spin it on the wire once and twist the handle and pull it off the cord and it not only cuts around the cord but also makes a slice to the end of the cord.

Great tool if you're installing speakers indoors or outdoors using 4 conductor wire.Let's you safely open multi conductor wire in the middle of runs without cutting through any of the component wires. Easy to use, I practiced doing cuts, especially the spiral cuts, on a piece of discarded 4 conductor wire first and this also helped me set the depth of cut correctly. Just watch the video.The only downside is that it is a little bit expensive for someone just doing a few do it yourself projects, it's really a tool for professionals that do a lot of installations.

It's a real pain trying to get a cable cover off a multi-connector cable. Before I bought this I would try to use a knife or a stripper to take the cover off. Half the time I would nick the interior cables. This tool is wonderful. Your can just put the end of the cable into the tool and adjust the blade depth to the cable cover thickness. I love this tool, just wish I would have bought it a long time ago. It's a little on the pricey side for what it is but considering all the time it saved me I'm happy with it.

I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews but decided to order it anyway. I use it to strip cloth wrapped SVT cord (which is challenging) and it worked great! Ive only used it for a week now so we'll see about durability but so far so good! The only draw back is the instructions. It takes a bit to figure out splicing the length of the cable but once you figure out how to hold and the twisting action, it works great!

It worked, but it's a PITA trying to keep the tool head in a specific angle while cutting. Being able to lock the head angle would make this 200 better.
