Mission: Our Mission is to help teens, young adults and families overcome the effects of drugs and alcohol and partner with the community in education and prevention. Results: We provide recovery support programs and services in unique, successful ways, all at no charge to those we serve and no requirement barriers. The average cost per day for treatment is $700-750, too much for most families. There is a desert of recovery resource options for youth in the San Antonio area. We keep programs free to those we serve because we strive to eliminate any and all barriers for our clients. Rise Recovery provides services including recovery peer counseling, education classes, group meetings, social activities and events, and community-focused education in local schools, churches and organizations. Our 2018 attendance: 2,537 attendees at our education classes, 11,166 attendees at our group meetings (gross total), and 2,269 attendees at our social activities. Within 30 days, 87% of participants recognize the negative impacts of their substance use on themselves, their families, work and/or school. Within 6 months, 81% of clients will have committed to the road to recovery over their addiction. Within one year of active participation, 88% of clients will have at least six months of sobriety and committed to the road to recovery.

Programs: Youth Peer Recovery Support (I am 13-17 struggling with or recovering from substance use), Young Adult Peer Recovery Support (I am 18-35 struggling with or recovering from substance use), Family Support (I am 18 or older and a family member is struggling with or recovering from substance use), New Generations (I am a sibling or a child age 9-17 and a family member is struggling with or recovering from substance use), and Community Outreach and Education which provides members of the community health and wellness education andtraining.
