Mission: Founded in 1986, the Riverside Park Conservancy nurtures Riverside Park's well-being, helps preserve its historic nature and leads the community in developing active stewardship. The Conservancy works to preserve and improve New York's classic waterfront green space. The Conservancy's activities include: training an extensive volunteer corps, helping organize neighborhood groups, advocating with public officials, and offering environmental education experiences for children and families. (Less)
