Mission: Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Greater Chattanooga provides a home away from home for families of seriously ill and injured children receiving care at nearby Chattanooga hospitals and supports programs that improve the health, education, and well-being of children. RMHC is a 26 bedroom facility equipped with the following: Private bedroom and bath, laundry facilities, family kitchen on each floor, main "Help Yourself" Kitchen where a prepared evening meal is served daily, living areas, playroom and playground for children and a teen room with internet access. RMHC also offers a Family Room located at T. C. Thompson Children's Hospital, equipped with a small kitchen, private showers, a family conversation area with television, quiet or nap room and laundry facilities. (Less)
