Mission: The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) supports the health and well being of children by providing lodging meals, activities and a community of care to critically ill children and their families who need to be near a hospital for treatment.
Results: The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida and its core program, the Ronald McDonald House assists more than 350 families stay at the House and are closer to their sick child. It is proven that families together help heal the child faster. Some of our excellent results:1.Families saved an estimated $1.4 million in out of pocket lodging and meal expenses due to the presence of the Ronald McDonald House. 2.Total number of family nights 11,192 3.More than 486 meals were served to families with a value of $102,820.004.Volunteers were able to support our program by donating 11,878 hours.
