After moving to the Pacific Northwest, I finally understood the popularity of polyester fleece jackets, especially the Columbia brand. That makes sense since they were pretty much invented for this type of climate. They're lightweight, warm, and they stay dry for a while in a light rain. They're not windproof, but when used with a long sleeve shirt underneath, I stay comfortable in a cool breeze.I usually wear a medium in most things, but a small fits me perfectly in this brand. I'm 5'6, 36C with an athletic figure, and the Benton Springs jacket covers just enough of my bum to wear with yoga leggings in public. It's loose enough for a shirt or thin sweater underneath without looking sloppy. The quality is better than any other brand I've tried, and so far there's been no pilling. I wish I had room in my closet for one in every color!
