On those colder than normal days . . . This fits perfectly over my cycling shirt and blocks the cold wind. It's light and flexible and doesn't feel like you're bundled up or have a heavy layer of clothing on. Very comfortable riding apparel and I would highly recommend it and would buy it again. Great Gift for your riding partner if they don't already have one.

Love the jacket, use it for cycling in the winter and it's warm and flexible. When I had a problem the customer service was outstanding!

This is my second version of this biking jacket and I've purchased it again because 1) it is very good in cold weather and 2) Value. My first jacket lasted 2 years - where it was used daily during the winter months. The zippers (both small pocket and front zippers) eventually failed - otherwise I'd still be using the original product - it held up very well in the wash. I live in Southern California, so can't comment on how well it works as a rain jacket.

I'm 5,8 155lbs, 42 chest, 34 waist and the Large size fits me perfectly.The jacket looks great, well made , now I just have to wear it for a few days before I can talk about its performance while riding in the cold weather.

Only one pocket on the front chest and a bottle pocket on the back, it is a cycling jacket, so that makes sense, but it could be nice to have front waist pockets or a slightly larger chest pocket. The performance is amazing for the price! Keeps you warm and dry without needing to layer too much underneath. Easily good for sub-freezing temps with just a tee or jersey on underneath! It is a heavier jacket compare to the more expensive ones from Gore or Pearl Izumi, substantially less packable, but its $40 vs $150!

I do a lot of mountain biking. I rode when it was 12 degrees the other day. I had on a few layers and a Fox thermal hoodie with this as my jacket. I never get cold. Lightweight, not bulky, keeps you warm and comfortable. Does exactly what I want.

Used the jacket for the first time today. It was 42 degrees, full sun, with wind chill was about 37. I had a thin longsleeve thermal top, a longsleeve winter jersey and the jacket on and I was very comfortable. This jacket could easily work down into the low 30's with the right base layers. The fabric and assembly is very well done. I am 5-10, 165 lbs, 34 waist, I wear a 16x33 dress shirt and the large fits like a glove. Sleeve length and torso are a perfect fit. Can't go wrong on this one.
