Mission: RJW Unfinished Business has been established to promote the responsible use of alcohol and to raise public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. It supports activities and programs that inform the public about the impact drinking and driving has on victims, their families and the community. Unfinished Business organizes family-oriented and community-enhancing events that encourage goodwill and generate the capital required to accomplish its goals. In summary, RJW Unfinished Business is committed to:· Raising public awareness to the problems of drinking and driving· Increasing society’s knowledge and commitment to encourage responsible drinking· Working directly with the community and like-minded organizations to help deter driving while impaired· Awarding scholarships to students who best embody Rory’s qualities of caring, compassion, humility and honesty

Results: To Date RJW Unfinished Business has: Reached nearly 8,000 persons through its outreach presentations. Established a scholarship program in 2012 which has 28 Awardees. With Scholarship Funds Awarded Totaling: $18,825

Target demographics: educated the community on the dangers of drunk and impaired driving.

Geographic areas served: primarily in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Programs: working with local and regional community groups to reach a greater number members of the community, which helps Increase knowledge and commitment to strongly encourage responsible drinking habits.
