Mission: Founded in 1978 Rose Brooks Center is a comprehensive domestic violence agency that provides a full continuum of care including prevention programming, crisis intervention and other supportive services to thousands of adults, children, and their pets each year. Today, Rose Brooks Center offers an emergency shelter for up to 100 adults and children, an onsite pet shelter for their pets, a violence prevention program in 26 schools, a hospital advocacy program located in 13 area hospitals and clinics, a children's therapeutic program, court advocacy, outreach counseling and a Permanent Housing Program. All programs are offered from one site helping to provide victims of domestic violence a full continuum of care to heal and become independent from violence. (Less)
