It's not Coyote Brown - it's somewhat less saturated and slightly greener from the shirt I got at the local surplus store. Also, this is definitely the "Tall" version of the shirt. I wish that had been clearly articulated before I bought it. I'll keep the shirt for hiking but it's not what I expected.<br /><br />EDIT 9/30/2016: I understand now why the color is different - it is not 100% cotton and the colorfastness is probably different with the synthetic material. The main advantage to a 50/50 blend is that it doesn't shrink so much in the wash. The 100% cotton shirts shrink prodigiously with each wash and dry.<br /><br />I have also added a picture showing the difference in color. The left-most shirt is the 'traditional' olive drab, the middle one is this AR 670-1 shirt, the right-most shirt is the 100% cotton coyote brown shirt I got at the local surplus store.
