Seems to be of decent quality, I'm use to Proper Boonies, they're a tad bit heavier in the fabric, this boonie feels a little lite on the top, also looks like they're trying too hard to make it look like official military wear except for that little tag that reads "Made in China", side by side comparison of this Rothco and one of my old Proper's doesn't visually appear to be very much, I'm going to have to wear this boonie for awhile and see if it holds up as well as my Proper's have, from the appearance I'd say it should, but that darn "Made in China" tag just bothers me for whatever the reason, I usually throw my Proper boonies straight into the wash to help soften them up a bit, but that tag makes me nervous to do the same thing to the Rothco.I guess that's my only complaint at this point is if I knew these were made in China I probably wouldn't have purchased the Rothco boonie, maybe this is a exception from most of the other "Made in China" products, it's always hit and miss with this type of stuff. If you asked if I'd purchase again, only time will tell on that one, the fit is a little loose but thats not a major ordeal, I just need to throw it in the washing machine than the dryer, if it disintegrates after the wash I'll update otherwise all is fine.
