So I actually bought two of these. My head size is a 6 7/8, and this hat ran uncomfortably tight on my head in that size. I can make it work if I wear it slightly higher or angled to avoid discomfort, but i constantly fidget with it. I bought a second hat in the ranger green color and I got a size 7. It was too loose, but it is comfortable. I have to use the chin-strap to hold it on my head with any breeze. So sizing is an issue they could work on.With that said, the quality is good. Aside from a few stray threads, i have no complaints against the quality.My final issue is that the hats are made in China. I'd prefer to but quality made-in-usa products.Anyways, i'd say a solid 4 stars. Decent quality, but sizing consistency could use some work.

I didn't expect much from a copy but was pleasantly surprised over the quality. The material is correct as is the style stiching. No corners cut.

Not as thick as I would have thought. But I assume it is what they used in Nam. I like it and recommend it. Looks good and does bock alot of sun.

Good stiff brim, it is a touch larger than the 7 3/4 size, but haven't washed it yet. No complaints after four days of wear.

I bought this so that it's large enough to put on with a ponytail and it worked out great. Functional and nice looking. I found one at REI that I loved but it was $95. That hat was sturdier and the brim was stiff enough so that you could shape it. This hat is lighter weight and the brim is softer BUT, it's every bit as good looking and functional. I almost think the more expensive one would be too warm on a hot day. This is a good buy!

The hat was rolled up like a tight fat sausage, was very wrinkled as a result, and the brim was bent throughout.
