Nice hat. I need to order another one now as the wind came up and I lost mine in the lake. That's what I get for not using the strap that comes with it.

It’s light weight comfy and blocks out a lot of sun I’m sure you can spray it with some waterproofed and it would be perfect

This is a very nice hat and definitely worth the money. Only problem is the size ran small so i am unable to wear it.. I figure i will just eat the loss. I am bummed though but thats what happens when you buy without trying on first.....

Bought this for the beach and its great. Fine in salt or pool water just rinse it off and your golden. Crumple it up into a ball and throw it in your pocket with no worries. Best of all my face doesnt feel like its about to catch fire when im at the beach.

I'm a former Marine and this boonie is top quality mil spec. I ordered another one for my son. Sizing is accurate. I can't believe they're so reasonably priced.

I tried to save a couple bucks by ordering a cheap Chinese Boonie hat off of ebay. Upon touching the webbing around the chinese one it fell apart!!I love the color of it and will still wear as "fashion" but it is junk. After ordering a Rothco Boonie, it was a world of difference. The quality is remarkable and is really top notch. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for!!

This Boonie hat exceeded my expectations! It provides me with greater sun protection of my temples and neck, than a baseball-style cap. After several hours of wear and several launderings, it has kept its shape with the appropriate "rigidity." Other similar hats "go soft and floppy" with time.
