I bought it to wear to an air show when I would be in the sun most of the day. It shielded my face and neck well though it was a little warm. I was happy with it.

I like the hat overall. But, it has one issue. Being a white hat compounds this issue. The piece of leather used as an adjuster on the retention string will bleed brown on any cloth it comes in contact with while wet. If the hat were a dark color it wouldn't be noticeable. But, with the hat being white, it is very noticeable. I could not get the stain out noticed other places where the same had happened. I cut the leather piece off already. I'd suggest the same to anyone else. Only, cut it off before it stains any lighter colored cloth.

I got this hat along with the Tiger Stripe M-65 made by Rothco. They match perfectly. Tiger Stripe has always been my pattern of choice, the colors fit perfectly with the jacket, it looks bad-a$$. The green foliage loop matches well with the hat. It's a tough fabric that is water resistant, but a bit hotter than 100 rip-stop cotton. It fits well - a bit large but that's what a chin strap is for.I'm pleased with the quality overall, and now I have 2 hats - the other one is Khaki cotton.

This hat worked great at the beach. The strap is nice to use if the day is really windy. Would love this style in some solid colors.

The tigerstripe pattern is one of my personal favorites for the thickets of the Southern Appalachian mountains that run along side trout streams. Great fishing hats for the fly fisherman or spinner fisherman!

I ordered a 7 3/4 hat and amazingly enough even after washing, the hat still fits my head. The hat fits good, feels good and the digital woodland camo looks good. Hat seems to be made good, time will tell.

My head doesn't get wet in the rain and it comfy..if u have a big head it won't fit.i have a small head 6 7/8 and it does fit me

I've had a number of these. Eventually they kind of wear out and the chin string breaks. This one is a replacement for my last one that lasted a number of years. There isn't much to say. These are good hats that protect from the sun and are lightweight enough to fold up and put in your back pocket. I will say that they tend to be a little stiff like cardboard when you first get them so you kind of need to wash and wear them some before they break in but that's a small issue.

This hat is deff not red, it is maroon digital camo. It's cool, fits well. I got it to match school colors. It's deff not red.

First off the 6 color pattern matches the real deal. The hat itself I got one size up from my fitted hat and weld caps which is 7 1/4. I got size 7 1/2 I'm glad I did. it doesn't fit too loose but rather like my multicam boonie which is one size fits most. The material is just like their BDU pants will get slightly soft after a while but in the way you want. Love this boonie will probably get Tiger stripe too.
