Rothco does a good job in my experience of recreating military gear. This is no exception. Matches my IDF collection very well, stitching is quality and built to last of heavy grade canvas. The elastic used for the pen loops is high quality and thick as are the snaps that hold the cover flap over it. Everything is evenly sewn and the metal hardware is durable with a nice finish.

I've had this same bag for 12 years! It's been to 5 medical missions including Haiti and DR. Not to mention all over the states! Sturdy and durable, it's amazing! It is showing wear, but it gives it character! I'll buy another as soon as this one wears out.

I used this bag every day in high school 20 years ago. When my stepdaughter found it in my old things, she loved it and started using it everyday as well. Unfortunately, using it daily for 5 or 6 years when I was younger and then it's sitting for the last 20 caused it to start fraying and the places where you attach the straps started to break within a few months of her using it. Found this exact replacement on here, purchased it, it was here in days and even though it's not MY bag she's using anymore, she still gets to use the bag she fell in love with. Only thing is the strap. Not the most comfortable thing in the world, It can dig into your shoulder, so I did purchase her a different, thicker one.

So got this cause it was cheap and i was going to use it for a bit and destroy it i figured. Well i was wrong its a awesome bag many pockets and very durable, i have now waterproofed it and use it for duck hunting and it is a champ, very heavy duty. Plus has round holders built in my 30-06 rounds fit perfectly.

I love the look of this bag! The Israeli Paratrooper logo gives it a bit of an edgy look, which I like.More importantly, it's really well made, sturdy canvas, durable strap that's comfortable stays put; no sliding off my shoulder. It's roomy enough for my hairdresser's tools, a wallet a water bottle.This is a great quality bag at an excellent price, and I highly recommend it!

I just needed a simple bag that had a bit of style to it, to haul around day-to-day stuff on a recent trip overseas. This one did the trick nicely -- no danger of it being confused for a man purse, aka murse, because it looks pretty tough. Just don't expect it to be anything firm or have lots of compartments or the like, like a proper leather satchel -- this one is all cloth. However it has the Israeli paratrooper logo on it so that's a win right there. Good.
