I'm a former Marine and this boonie is top quality mil spec. I ordered another one for my son. Sizing is accurate. I can't believe they're so reasonably priced.

I tried to save a couple bucks by ordering a cheap Chinese Boonie hat off of ebay. Upon touching the webbing around the chinese one it fell apart!! I love the color of it and will still wear as 34;fashion34; but it is junk. After ordering a Rothco Boonie, it was a world of difference. The quality is remarkable and is really top notch. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for!!

Great quality, I wear this hat nearly every day delivering the mail, protects my ears and head, got a second one for yard work and fishing. Love it!!

This Boonie hat exceeded my expectations! It provides me with greater sun protection of my temples and neck, than a baseball-style cap. After several hours of wear and several launderings, it has kept its shape with the appropriate 34;rigidity.34; Other similar hats 34;go soft and floppy34; with time.

Still a classic, aerates well, brim curls up for side-sun and breeze, and the loops work for fold-and-hold. Sweat salt and sun shrink the hat perfectly.

Love the hat. Excellent fit and very confrontable. The pattern had more white than the advertisement picture. Another gig I have is that it has no pocket on the top inside like some other boonies I wear. If it did have the pocket it would get a five star.
