Although the description says Heavyweight, it is Mediumweight at best. The 4XL that I purchased fits more like a 2XL. Price is way too high for what I received.

I have researched these shirts on several sites and there are a lot of reviews that it is not heavy weight and shrinks badly. Most said to buy a size 2 to 3 sizes larger. I am 6' 2" and weigh 190 LBS chest size 46 and wear a large and can get away with a xtra large. So based on reviews I bought one of these 2 sizes up 2X. Well when I got the shirt it was way too big for me. I decided to wash it on high heat along with 20 minutes on high heat in the dryer and it stayed pretty much the size it was when I bought it. I hike a lot in the winter so when I dress in layers the shirt is fine. As far as heavy weight it is thicker compared to most plaid shirts out there if you want a heavier shirt then buy one with the lining on the inside. I now bought 2 more in xtra large and they are still a bit larger then I normally wear. I believe if I bought the large it would fit fine. The sleeves did not shrink much at all. As far as the quality it is very nice and the colors are great I now have the purple yellow and red. I have gotten several comments on these shirts where people like them quite well. The color of these shirts are better looking then what is showed on the websites. Example the purple shirt looks washed out on the websites it was way better looking in person. I plan on buying the gray black - the blue and green and maybe the orange. I will say they are more expensive the others but once again they are thicker. I would recommend these shirts to others and order your size or 1 up and you will be fine.
