If you just wanted a fashion look, this Beret definitely works. But as a real military beret it's bit to shallow and doesn't completely fit your head. Though as a female with long dred locs it looked really cute. I had to order up a size or two to accommodate my locs, but I was stylin and profiling.

Depending on a number of personal factors surrounding your life, choose wisely in wearing this Beret. As for me wearing it, stereotypically it is likely to convey the wrong message. Regardless, this Beret is comfortable, durable, and actually has given a purpose of meaning to my background of character. Yeah, I'll being buying more of these Berets in the near future.

This is a military style beret, worn by different military units around the world. The two holes on the beret are not vent holes. They are there to place a badge or unit symbol. The second photo clearly shows those 2 holes.The size that was suggested for me fits prefect and the wool is smooth without any pilling.

It's a well-made beret, all wool with a leather band, it has the cardboard insert the keeps its shape, the tie ribbons that hang down in the back. Carefully packaged, it arrived two days early!

Includes a shoe string type adjustment so if size fits too large it can be reduced. I bought 7 3/4...normally I'm a 7 5/8. Fit great! Looks awesome!
