It's a well-made beret, all wool with a leather band, it has the cardboard insert the keeps its shape, the tie ribbons that hang down in the back. Carefully packaged, it arrived two days early!

Includes a shoe string type adjustment so if size fits too large it can be reduced. I bought 7 3/4...normally I'm a 7 5/8. Fit great! Looks awesome!

This beret was a gift for my husband. I bought him a more expensive one two years ago, and I wanted to get him an extra one, just in case. But he has a large head, so I have often had to return hats. So I ordered an XL. Surprise, it was too big. But this beret is the military type with the leather band, and hidden in the band is a ribbon that you can tighten to make the hat fit more snuggly. It worked. He now loves this beret more than the expensive one.

The beret itself is decently made. I didn't feel like it would fall apart if it got wet. I ordered the X-Large as a man and it fit well. I think I would have wanted it slightly larger. It feels nice and soft.
