When traveling I stuff this into a larger bag, then hang it up where I'm staying and use it as a hamper. If I go overboard on souvenirs and run out of room in my suitcase I'll check it separately. It's advisable to also carry a clean plastic trash liner and put your clothes into that, then put the trash bag into the duffle. This is a bit annoying, but it does not seal well unless filled to the brim. I still prefer this to troubleshooting broken zippers; I consider this bag's lack of such a feature.
