I bought these for my son, and he mostly wears them to school. They are substantial, but not heavy. He loves stomping around in them. We have really not tested them for waterproof-ness, but I would buy them again. They are a real bargain if you don't need a high-quality hiking boot.

After getting the boots, I tried them on, and immediately hated them. I wear a size 12, and ther were marked as a size 12, but they were more like a 14! My feet also felt like I was walking on concrete slabs. Actually, come to think of it, concrete slabs feel more comfortable than these. Very disappointing purchase. Returned them immediately.

These boots my husband really like them, but he wore them a couple time and the footbed now has mold growing on it. I've tried putting bleach on them to see if I can kill it.I would not recommend this product

These boots have held up amazingly through work and recreation. I'm on my feet 95 of the day and my feet don't get sore wearing these boots. They hold up on hikes and through all types of weather.

The boots arrived very quicky, and they are as described, if not better. They're a little stiff around the ankle and caused a small blister after day one, but they're breaking in.

I had a pair in Black another in Green which I rotated during warmer weather with my BDUs. They're designed to breathe far better than the all leathers. They also cost less, LOL

I grabbed a size too big, but I overall loved the boots, rugged with a comfortable feel. I would say a insole would give it a nice nudge.

My son loves them.He wanted combat boots.I got him some Doc's.He didn't like them.He wanted these instead.So I would say they are serving their purpose.
