I bought these for my chain saw gear. Fits everything I need when in the woods. Good heavy bag. I love it

It looks similar to the government issue bag. But it has its differences. I'll let my pictures show the comparison with the actual bag.I will say the rothco bag is nice though. Just not quite what I was looking for. Will still use it though. Hopefully it can take a beating like the government issue bags.

It's nice and roomy inside and very durable. If it has a downside there is no stiffened bottom in it so it's kind of floppy. It works great for me it holds all my martial arts gear without having still all mashed together. I have shin guards headgear boxing gloves and Jeet Kune Do gloves plus a few other odds and ends stuff in and could still add more stuff. Highly recommended

I purchased this bag to hold all kinds of recovery gear when the moment came to take our LandCruiser on it's maiden voyage. It's currently holding about 60 pounds of gear and it shows no signs of wear. It holds an incredible amount of gear due to its size but is also durable. I didn't want to overpack it so I have another bag with other essential items. Either way, I don't have to worry about the bag falling apart. There is a slight vinegar smell to the bag which does make your recovery ropes smell like vinegar to but it's not a big deal for me. I would see how this would become a problem if you use this as a traveling bag for your clothes so you would just have to air it out for a few days before you use it for that purpose.

Good zippers, good opening, good top protection. Used as a utility bag for my pickup.
