These balaclavas are great. They're warm, comfortable, and shield your face from those cold and windy days. Do yourself a favor and buy one. Or you could do like I did and buy three of them, all in different colors to go with whichever environment I'm trying to blend into.

This makes living in the north comfortable! My bald husband can now go for walks outdoors! This keeps our heads and necks toasty warm and can serve as an emergency COVID face mask for quick trip shopping. Recommended!

While this looks good in the photo, it isn't nearly as warm as expected, and it balls up terribly in the wash making it look awful to wear out. If I have to work to keep it looking presentable, it isn't worth the money, in my opinion, no matter how cheap it is. So, with that being said, I could only give it three stars. I gave it away to one of my smoking friends, so he could enjoy his cigarette without being turned into a popsicle in the colder temps. I opted for the Turtle brand, which was the quality I was looking for, and it keeps me cozy.. Now, what one finds warm, and what another labels as warm may be something else. I didn't find the Rothco protective from the elements at all, and the quality just wasn't what I was looking for.

This makes being outside in below freezing temps more bearable. Unlike some balaclavas, this one allows me to wear my glasses in comfort. I have tried several different balaclavas, this one is my favorite. It's a well made item with a reasonable price tag.

Fits well, very lightweight and soft fleece material. Can easily be worn under a hat or helmet if desired. Would buy again if needed.
